Elizabeth St. Painters was founded in 2003 by Bill Moser, current owner & CEO. It's birth was a result of two unresolved passions- the first was a burning desire to build a business that could provide a needed service to the community. The second- well they always say, "if you didn't have to work, what would you be doing". For Bill, that would be playing point guard for the NY Knicks, but since that was out of the question at his height and age, he would rather be fixing up his house or other property. "I used to paint houses in college way back when and I never thought of it as an actual business to own. Once I looked into it, it made perfect sense,"
Today, Elizabeth St. Painters is made up of a 5 man crew, including two foreman and Bill, who acts as Production Manager. "Most of our crew has been with me since the beginnig. Everyone was pre-screened and hired only through referal. We're like a family and that is the atmosphere I want to keep as we expand in the future."
